The HFI RF800D-LW system has been designed to improve lone worker safety and to facilitate deployment of radio based lone worker system. Radio provides a useful method for mobile two way voice communications, and additional features such Lone worker, Man down and Manual emergency are all supported.

 

It is important to know the location of the caller when an alarm is generated, so this can be achieved by using GPS radio for outdoor localisation, and by installing HFI RF800 radio beacons at varying point around the site for indoor localisation.

 

Typical HFI RF800D-LW system:

 

· PC host running RF800D-LW software

· DR3000 Motorola repeater

· DM3400/DM3600 Mobile radio which receives alarms and location information

· DP3400/DP3401/DP3600/DP3601 Digital portable radios fitted with HFI RF800-MD option board
